- Sleep
Drew and Leslie will greet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel (Private Van transfer). As you exit customs and baggage claim, look for a friendly face holding a sign with this logo:
Transfer time to hotel: Around 45 minutes. Relax and recover from your flight! A late dinner can be arranged on request.

Wat a Buddhaful Day!

9:00 AM Hotel Pickup and meet Anu, our awesome local guide for the day!

Discover the Grand Palace, the official residence of the Kings of Siam since 1782. Our local guide leads us through the many important and beautiful temples inside this sprawling complex.

We'll board ferries and Longtail boats as we meander through the Thonburi Khlongs (canals of the mighty Chao Phraya River).
-
Visit Wat Paknam Phasi Charoen, home to the largest and most impressive Buddha statue in Thailand! This newly finished bronze deity sits nearly 230 feet above the ground, the height of a 20-story building, and cost over $3.3 million when it was built in 2017.

Lunch at a delicious restaurant serving Thai & International cuisine.

Return to the hotel by 3 PM to get our luggage and transfer to Don Mueang International Airport DMK for our flight to Phuket. Flight FD 3027 Departing at 6:20 PM.

Arrive in Phuket (HKT). Drive to Banyan Tree Resort (around 30 minutes).

7:45 AM Depart for Green Elephant Sanctuary

Amazing Elephant experience at one of the top ethical elephant sanctuaries in Thailand (and thus the world). Learn, feed, interact, and bathe with the elephants! Tasty local Thai meal included after.

10:30 AM - Back to the Banyan Tree resort to shower and relax for a bit

12:30 PM - Drive south to Kata Beach and have a nice Thai/International Lunch.

2:40 PM Head to Paradise ATV

2 Hour ATV excursion through rainforest, farmlands, villages, and up the mountain to the Big Buddha.

5:00 PM - Short drive to Phuket Town Weekend Night Market

Explore, shop, and eat our way through the busting night market

~7:00 PM - Drive back to Banyan Tree resort

Relax at our jungle accommodation

Visit our friends at their local "Rungfah" farm and learn the traditional "jungle style" cooking as their family helps us make a delicious dinner!

Venture into the night as the jungle comes alive on a guided night safari! With torches (flashlights) in hand, we look for animals, creatures, and critters big and small in the national park.

Bonus expedition! Long tail boat to a 30 - 45 minute hike/walk, to bamboo rafts, to the Coral Cave, and return. Visit "Mini Guilin", a stunning karst formation comprising 3 jagged rock "brothers". (3 and 1/2 hours total)

Drive to Krabi (Ao Nang) with a quick restroom and coffee stop along the way

Private boat from Ao Nang to Railay Beach

Quickly explore Railay, take pictures, eat lunch from the boat vendors, and return to Ao Nang

Transfer to Krabi Airport (KBV) for your flight to Bangkok. Flight PG296 Departing @ 3:20 PM
